Pennsylvania State Standardized Assessment (PSSA) Testing
Congratulations to all of our students who finished their PSSA testing this week! Our students were attentive, tried their best, and worked their hardest! Go Lea!
PBIS Field Trips
Our last PBIS Field Trip of the year will occur on Monday, May 6th for our 7th and 8th grade students, who will see Avengers: End Game. Please make sure your student has told their teacher if they want to attend.
Lea Day
Henry C. Lea School staff is proud to present our annual field day event — “Lea Day” — for our students, families, and staff on Thursday, May 30th throughout the school day. On Lea Day, students and staff will participate in outdoor games in the big schoolyard, “Minute-To-Win-It” competitions in the gym, classroom activities such as games and movies in their homeroom classrooms, and snack breaks in the small schoolyard (water ice and soft pretzels).
More information will be coming in a letter we’ll send home next week. Finally, if you’re able to donate any supplies (water for students and staff is preferred), please contact Mr. Rich (rjliuzzi@gse.upenn.edu).

School Advisory Council (SAC)
Our last SAC meeting for the year will be on May 8, 2019 at 4:30 PM in the Lea Library. Please join us!
Home & School Association (HSA)
The HSA is selling Lea swag as a fundraiser! We have “be-LEA-ve” t-shirts as well as Lea pop sockets and stickers! Ask an HSA officer or email us at leahomeandschool@gmail.com. Baseball T’s are $15, regular T’s are $10, and pop sockets are $3.
The last HSA meeting of the school year will be on Wednesday, May 15th at 3:30 PM here at Lea. Please join us!

Kindergarten Open House
